Reaction Steps
4-|2-(S)-Methyl-4-(5-trifluoromethyl-pyridin-2-yl)-piperazine-1-sulfonyl|-indan-2-carboxylic acid. The compound 4-[2-(S)-Methyl-4-(5-trifluoromethyl-pyridin-2-yl)-piperazine-1-sulfonyl]-indan-2-carboxylic acid was prepared from 3-(S)-methyl-1-(5-trifluoromethyl-pyridin-2-yl)-piperazine and 4-chlorosulfonyl-indan-2-carboxylic acid methyl ester following the procedure outlined in Example 79. 1H NMR (400 MHz, DMSO-d6): δ 8.38 (s, 1H), 7.82-7.76 (m, 1H), 7.65 (d, 1H), 7.52 (d, 1H), 7.37 (t, 1H), 6.93-6.88 (m, 1H), 4.35-4.18 (m, 2H), 4.18-4.02 (m, 1H), 3.60-3.46 (m, 1H), 3.45-3.10 (m, 7H), 2.97-2.80 (m, 1H), 1.06-1.01 (m, 3H); MS (ESI): 470.0 (M+H).
