Reaktionsschritte

4-[4,5-Bis-(4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-1H-imidazol-2-yl]-3,6-dihydro-2H-pyridine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester from step (a) above was treated with TFA under the condition of Example 22(c) to give the title compound, which was used directly in the next step without additional purification. MS (ESI, positive ion) m/z: 438 (M+1).
