The title compound of Step B was prepared following the method described in Step B of Example 1 from 3-{3-[(4-pyrimidin-2-yl-benzylamino)-methyl]-phenyl}-propionic acid methyl ester, prepared in Step A, and 1-methyl-1H-imidazole-4-sulfonyl chloride. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ 8.81 (m, 2H), 8.30 (d, 2H), 7.52 (s, 1H), 7.39 (s, 1H), 7.28-7.20 (m, 3H), 7.14 (m, 1H), 7.04-6.63 (m, 3H), 4.46 (s, 2H), 4.43 (s, 2H), 3.72 (s, 3H), 3.65 (s, 3H), 2.83 (t, 2H), 2.52 (t, 2H); MS 506 (M+1).
