To the above Compound 18b (200 mg, 0.485 mmol) was added NaOMe (0.5 M in MeOH, 2.0 mL, 1.0 mmol). The solution was stirred at 25° C. for 90 min. Then, the solution was poured into brine, extracted with EtOAc (4×15 mL), dried (MgSO4), filtered through a silica plug. Evaporation of the solvent provided the title compound (175 mg, 0.482 mmol, 99%).
