To the product of Example 57 (158 mg, 0.31 mmol) in anhydrous DMF (5 mL) were added tert-butyl bromoacetate (460 μL, 10 equiv) and anhydrous K2CO3 (425 mg, 10 equiv). The suspension was heated at 80° C. under nitrogen for 16 h. After cooling, resulting solids were removed by filtration. The filtrate was concentrated to give a residue, which was purified by chromatography on silica gel, eluting with MeOH-DCM (5:95) to give the product, which was used in the next step without further purification.
