Reaction Steps

(1R,2S,3R,5S)-3-[2-Chloro-6-(2,2-diphenyl-ethylamino)-purin-9-yl]-5-(di-Boc-amino)-cyclopentane-1,2-diol (10.3 g, 15.50 mmol) is dissolved in DCM (50 mL). TFA (25 mL) is added and the reaction mixture is stirred at RT. The reaction is shown to be complete by LCMS after 2 hours. The solvent is removed in vacuo to give the title compound.
