Procedure
Analogous to Example 45, 0.7 gm (2.1 millimols) of methyl 2,5-dihydro-2,5-dimethyl-4-hydroxy-1,2-thiazino[5,6-b]indole-3-carboxylate-1,1-dioxide and 0.24 gm (2.5 millimols) of 4-amino-pyrimidine were reacted, yielding 0.7 gm (86% of theory) of 2,5-dihydro-2,5-dimethyl-4-hydroxy-N-(4-pyrimidinyl)-1,2-thiazino[5,6-b]indole-3-carboxamide-1,1-dioxide; M.p.: 255° C. (decomposition).
