5-Benzyloxy-2-(2′-chloro-biphenyl-2-ylmethyl)-6-hydroxypyrimidine-4-carboxylic acid (2-hydroxyethyl)-methyl-amide (10-02) (1 g, 61.34%) was synthesized as a yellow liquid from 5-benzyloxy-2-(2′-chloro-biphenyl-2-ylmethyl)-6-hydroxypyrimidine-4-carboxylic acid [2-(tert-butyl-dimethylsilanyloxy)-ethyl]-methyl-amide (9-02) (2 g, 3.23 mmol) following the procedure as described for 5-benzyloxy-2-biphenyl-2-ylmethyl-6-hydroxypyrimidine-4-carboxylic acid (2-hydroxyethyl)-methyl-amide (10-01).
