Prepared as in Example 2a from 2-amino-6-(cyclohexylmethoxy)benzonitrile (Example 115b) and ethyl 3-oxobutanoate as a pale yellow solid (47%). 1H NR (400 MHz, MeOD) δ 1.12-1.37 (m, 6H), 1.42 (t, J=4.0 Hz, 3H), 1.73-2.01 (m, 5H), 2.68 (s, 3H), 4.06 (d, J=4.0 Hz, 2H), 4.42 (q, J=8.0 Hz, 2H), 6.96 (d, J=8.0 Hz, 1H), 7.32 (d, J=8.0 Hz, 1H), 7.58 (t, J=8.0 Hz, 1H). MS 343 (MH+).
