Procedure
A mixture of ethyl 3-[({1-[(3,4-dichlorophenyl)methyl]-5-methyl-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl}carbonyl)amino]benzoate (Example 20) (0.06 g, 0.138 mmol) and a 1N NaOH solution (2 mL, 2 mmol) in ethanol (5 mL) was stirred at 40° C. for 4 hours. The solvent was evaporated and the residue was acidified with a 1N HCl solution. The precipitate formed was filtered and dried. The title compound was obtained as a white solid (53 mg, 96%). HRMS calculated for C18H14Cl2N4O5 (M+H)+: 405.0521. found: 405.0520, Rt: 2.23 min. MP: 267.6° C.
