To a solution of compound 8a (18 g) in acetonitrile (150 mL) was added isoamylnitrite (7.45 g) at 30° C. The reaction mixture was stirred at 25-30° C. for 45 minutes. The reaction was monitored by TLC. After completion, the reaction was quenched with 10% NaHSO3 solution in water (10 ml) and concentrated under reduced pressure. The obtained residue was extracted with ethyl acetate (10 vol). The extract was washed with water and then concentrated at reduced pressure to provide the product (21 g, 92.68%).
