Benzyl 5-{[4-(1H-tetrazol-1-yl)phenyl]acetyl}-2,5-diazabicyclo[2.2.1]heptane-2-carboxylate (517 mg, 1.24 mmol) and palladium on carbon (131 mg) in methanol (50 mL) were stirred under a hydrogen atmosphere (balloon) for overnight. The reaction mixture was filtered and concentrated to afford 1-(2,5-diazabicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-yl)-2-[4-(1H-tetrazol-1-yl)phenyl]ethanone. LC/MS: [(M+1)]+=285.
