Reaction Steps

To the title compound of step A (355 mg, 1 mmol) in DCM (9.7 mL) was added 4M HCl in dioxane (1.2 mL). The reaction was allowed to proceed overnight then concentrated and neutralized with 5% Na2CO3 (aq) and extracted with DCM (2×). The combined organics were dried (Na2SO4) to give the title compound of step B that was used without further purification.
