The reaction of 9-methyl-3,4,5,6-tetrahydro-1H-2,5-ethanoazepino[4,3-b]indole (226 mg, 1.0 mmol; Example 2B) and 7-bromoquinoline (312 mg, 1.5 mmol; Ark Pharm) was performed as described in Example 68 to afford the title compound: 1H NMR (300 MHz, methanol-d4) δ ppm 1.97-2.11 (m, 2H) 2.18-2.30 (m, 2H) 2.43 (s, 3H) 3.10-3.29 (m, 5H) 4.32 (s, 2H) 6.96-7.01 (m, 1H) 7.22 (s, 1H) 7.35 (d, J=8 Hz, 1H) 7.57 (d, J=8 Hz, 1H) 7.62-7.69 (m, 1H) 7.82 (ddd, J=8, 7, 1 Hz, 1H) 7.97-8.05 (m, 2H) 8.52 (d, J=8 Hz, 1H); MS (DCI/NH3) m/z 354 (M+H)+.
