The reaction of 3,4,5,6-tetrahydro-1H-2,5-ethanoazepino[4,3-b]indole (212 mg, 1.0 mmol; Example 187A) and 6-bromo-2-methylquinoline (333 mg, 1.5 mmol; Oakwood) was performed as described in Example 68 to afford the title compound: 1H NMR (300 MHz, methanol-d4) δ ppm 1.94-2.20 (m, 4H) 2.78 (s, 3H) 2.91-2.98 (m, 1H) 3.09-3.29 (m, 4H) 4.35 (s, 2H) 7.06-7.11 (m, 3H) 7.39-7.45 (m, 1H) 7.53 (d, J=8 Hz, 1H) 7.67 (dd, J=9, 2 Hz, 1H) 7.89 (d, J=2 Hz, 1H) 8.13 (d, J=9 Hz, 1H) 8.33 (d, J=8 Hz, 1H); MS (DCI/NH3) m/z 354 (M+H)+.
