The reaction of 3,4,5,6-tetrahydro-1H-2,5-ethanoazepino[4,3-b]indole (212 mg, 1.0 mmol; Example 187A) and 1-(4-bromophenyl)-4-methylpiperazine (255 mg, 1.0 mmol; Accela Chembio) was performed as described in Example 68 to afford the title compound: 1H NMR (300 MHz, methanol-d4) δ ppm 1.92-2.11 (m, 4H) 2.37 (s, 3H) 2.61-2.71 (m, 4H) 2.86-2.92 (m, 1H) 3.03-3.28 (m, 8H) 4.31 (s, 2H) 6.95-7.06 (m, 3H) 7.10-7.21 (m, 4H) 7.32-7.40 (m, 1H); MS (DCI/NH3) m/z 387 (M+H)+.
