The title compound was prepared according to the procedure described in Example 1 starting following Step 5 and 6 coupling (5-(trifluoromethyl)-3-(3-fluoro-4-methoxyphenyl)isothiazol-4-yl)methyl methanesulfonate and ethyl 3-(4-hydroxy-2,3-dimethylphenyl)propanoate followed by hydrolysis to afford the desired product as an off-white solid. 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO) δ 12.12 (s, 1H), 7.48-7.58 (m, 2H), 7.31 (t, J=8.7 Hz, 2H), 6.96 (d, J=8.4 Hz, 1H), 6.80 (d, J=8.4 Hz, 1H), 5.09 (s, 2H), 3.89 (s, 3H), 2.76 (t, J=7.2 Hz, 2H), 2.41 (t, J=7.5 Hz, 2H), 2.14 (s, 3H), 1.97 (s, 3H). Mass spectrum (ESI, m/z): Calcd. for C23H21F4NO4S, 482.1 (M−H). found 482.0.
