The title compound was prepared according to the procedure described in Example 1 starting following Step 5 and 6 coupling (5-(trifluoromethyl)-3-(3-methoxyphenyl)isothiazol-4-yl)methyl methanesulfonate and ethyl 3-(4-hydroxy-2,3-dimethylphenyl)propanoate followed by hydrolysis to afford the desired product as an off-white solid. 1H NMR (300 MHz, CD3OD) δ 7.21-7.38 (m, 3H), 6.96-7.04 (m, 2H), 6.72 (d, J=7.8 Hz, 1H), 5.08 (s, 2H), 3.60 (s, 3H), 2.91 (t, J=7.2 Hz, 2H), 2.51 (t, J=7.5 Hz, 2H), 2.23 (s, 3H), 2.067 (s, 3H). Mass spectrum (ESI, m/z): Calcd. for C23H22F3NO4S, 464.1 (M−H). found 464.0.
