The title compound was prepared according to the procedure described in Example 1 following Steps 5 and 6 by coupling of (3-(4-chlorophenyl)-5-(trifluoromethyl)isothiazol-4-yl)methanol and (E)-ethyl 3-(2,3-difluoro-4-hydroxyphenyl)acrylate then hydrolysis to afford the desired product as an off-white solid. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ 7.80 (d, J=9.5 Hz, 1H), 7.64 (d, J=7.2 Hz, 1H), 7.47 (d, J=7.2 Hz, 1H), 6.52 (d, J=9.0 Hz, 2H), 7.28 (t, J=6.8 Hz, 1H), 6.82 (t, J=6.8 Hz, 1H), 5.14 (s, 2H).
