The title compound was prepared according to the procedure described in Example 223 by LAH reduction of ethyl 3-(4-((3-(4-ethylphenyl)-5-fluorothiophen-2-yl)methoxy)-3,5-difluoro phenyl)propanoate to give the desired product as off-white oil. 1HNMR (300 MHz, CD3OD) δ 7.37 (d, J=8.1 Hz, 2H), 7.26 (d, J=8.1 Hz, 2H), 6.81 (t, J=9.3 Hz, 1H), 6.63 (s, 2H), 5.01 (s, 2H), 3.58 (t, J=6.0 Hz, 2H), 2.63-2.74 (m, 4H), 1.77-1.87 (m, 2H), 1.28 (t, J=7.8 Hz, 3H). Mass spectrum (ESI, m/z): Calcd. for C22H21F3O2S, 219.1[M-C9H9F2O2]. found 219.1.
