The title compound was prepared according to the procedure described in Example 223 by LAH reduction of ethyl 3-(4-((3-(4-ethylphenyl)-5-methylthiophen-2-yl)methoxy)-2,3-difluoro phenyl)propanoate to give the desired product as off-white oil. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ 7.35 (d, J=7.0 Hz, 2H), 7.24 (d, J=7.1 Hz, 2H), 6.78 (s, 1H), 6.72 (m, J=5.8 Hz, 1H), 6.62 (m, J=7.2 Hz, 1H), 5.11 (s, 2H), 3.72 (t, J=8.1 Hz, 2H), 2.72 (m, J=5.2 Hz, 2H), 2.65 (m, J=7.5 Hz, 2H), 2.49 (s, 3H), 1.82 (m, J=5.8 Hz, 2H), 1.70 (br, s, 1H), 1.28 (t, J=7.2 Hz, 3H).
