Following general procedure I, 2,8-dichloro-7-(methylsulfonyl)-1,5-naphthyridine (140 mg, 0.52 mmol) was reacted with trans-N1,N1-dimethylcyclohexane-1,4-diamine dihydrochloride (140 mg, 0.65 mmol) to afford the desired product (68 mg, 34%) as an off-white solid: 1H NMR (500 MHz, CDCl3) δ 8.85 (s, 1H), 8.15 (d, J=8.8 Hz, 1H), 7.66 (d, J=7.7 Hz, 1H), 7.58 (d, J=8.8 Hz, 1H), 5.06-4.96 (m, 1H), 3.09 (s, 3H), 2.33 (s, 6H), 2.33-2.28 (m, 2 H), 2.27-2.17 (m, 1 H), 2.06-1.99 (m, 2H), 1.56-1.32 (m, 4H); ESI MS m/z 383 [M+H]+
