Procedure
The product of Example 41, step B was reacted with 6-fluoroindole following the procedure of Example 41, step C providing tert-butyl 8-(6-fluoro-1H-indol-1-ylsulfonyl)-3,4-dihydrobenzofuro[3,2-c]pyridine-2(1H)-carboxylate (63 mg, 55%) as a white foamy solid: 1H NMR (CDCl3, 300 MHz) δ 8.02 (s, 1H), 7.75 (dd, J=9.6, 2.1 Hz, 2H), 7.58 (d, J=4.0 Hz, 1H), 7.44 (m, 2H), 6.96 (dt, J=4.5, 2.5 Hz, 1H), 6.63 (d, J=4.1 Hz, 1H), 4.55 (br s, 2H), 3.81 (br s, 2H), 2.84 (br s, 2H), 1.51 (s, 9H).
