Reaction Steps
The experimental protocol used is the same as that described for compound 1, with trisnorlipoic acid [or 2-(1,2-dithiolan-3-yl)acetic acid] (prepared according to Tetrahedron Letters, (1997), 38, 33, 5785) replacing lipoic acid. Yellow foam.
