Procedure

Following General Procedure AF and using N-[N-(3-nitrophenylacetyl)-L-alaninyl]-L-valine ethyl ester (from Example 143 above), the title compound was prepared as a solid. The reaction was monitored by tlc (Rf=0.05 in 9:1 CHCl3/MeOH).
