4-Chloro-1-fluoro-2-(2-propynyloxy)benzene was synthesized analogously to Example 33a from (4 g, 27 mmol) 4-chloro-1-fluorophenol to give 4.6 g of product (purified by column chromatography on silica, ethyl acetate/n-hexane 1:15) as yellow oil. Yield 90%. c) 5-chloro-8-fluoro-2H-chromene
