Reaction Steps

The compound from Example 134 (0.8 g) was taken in aqueous HBr (10 mL) and the solution was refluxed overnight. The aqueous solution was extracted with EtOAc. The combined organic layers were dried over Na2SO4, filtered and evaporated. The residue was purified by flash chromatography on silica gel (1:1 EtOAc/Hexanes) to yield the titled compound (0.65 g). MS (m/z) 469 (MH+).
