Using the method similar to that in Example 61 and 5-bromovaleronitrile (1.09 ml, 9.31 mmol) instead of benzyl bromide and starting from 2,4-dioxo-1-[4-(4-diphenylmethoxypiperidino)butyl]-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinazoline (3.00 g, 6.20 mmol) obtained in Example 2, a free salt of the title compound (2.32 g, 66%) was obtained as an oil.
