Procedure
1-(2-(3-azidopropyl)-5-(2,5-difluorophenyl)-2-phenyl-1,3,4-thiadiazol-3(2H)-yl)-2,2-dimethylpropan-1-one (100 mg, 0.2255 mmol) was weighed into a flask and dissolved in 7 mL of MeOH.HCl (0.563 ml, 1.12 mmol) and Pd/C (23 mg 0.22 mmol) were then added. The reaction was stirred at ambient temperature under an atmosphere or H2 for 45 minutes. The reaction was then concentrated affording the desired product (97.4 mg, 95%).
