With a method similar to that used for the preparation of 4-(3-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-3,4,5,6-tetrahydro-2H-[1,2′]bipyridinyl-5′-carboxylic acid (5-methyl-4-phenyl-thiazol-2-yl)-amide, 4-(4-methyl-4H-[1,2,4]triazol-3-yl)-3,4,5,6-tetrahydro-2H-[1,2′]bipyridinyl-5-carboxylic acid (5-methyl-4-phenyl-thiazol-2-yl)-amide was prepared from 6-chloro-N-(5-methyl-4-phenyl-thiazol-2-yl)-nicotinamide and 4-(4-methyl-4H-[1,2,4]triazol-3-yl)-piperidine.
