Procedure
4-{4-[5-(3,4-Dimethyl-phenylcarbamoyl)-pyridin-2-yl]-piperazin-1-yl}-benzoic acid was prepared from 4-piperazin-1-yl-benzoic acid benzyl ester and 6-chloro-N-(3,4-dimethyl-phenyl)-nicotinamide with a method similar to the one described in the synthesis of 4-[4-(5-phenylcarbamoyl-pyridin-2-yl)-piperazin-1-yl]-benzoic acid above. HRMS m/z calcd for C25H26N4O3 [M+H]+: 431.2078. Found: 431.2078.
