Compound 35.16 (12 mg, 0.019 mmol) was dissolved in 7 N NH3 in MeOH (5 mL) and stirred for 12 h under nitrogen. The solvent was removed under reduced pressure and the residue was washed with 3×10 mL acetonitrile. The acetonitrile washings are filtered and the solid residue was redissolved in methanol, filtered and concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue gives compound 35.17 in greater than 90% purity (9.2 mg, 100% yield).
