A mixture of the compound obtained in step 1 (0.47 g) and 4N hydrogen chloride/ethyl acetate (3 mL) was stirred at room temperature for 3 hr. The precipitate was collected by filtration, and recrystallized from ethanol-diisopropyl ether to give the title compound (0.31 g, 79%) as a white powder. 1H-NMR (DMSO-d6): δ0.85-1.30 (5H, m), 1.18 (3H, t, J=6.2 Hz), 1.45-1.85 (6H, m), 3.56 (2H, brs), 4.24-4.32 (4H, m), 4.84-5.00 (1H, m), 6.55 (1H, d, J=8.1 Hz), 7.75 (1H, d, J=8.1 Hz), 9.56 (2H, brs)
