The title compound was prepared from 5-(5-chloromethyl-2-n-propoxyphenyl)-1-methyl-3-n-propyl-1,6-dihydro-7H-pyrazolo[4,3-d]pyrimidin-7-one and 1-methylpiperazine, following the procedure of Example 34, and was obtained as a colourless solid (36%), m.p. 149°-150° C. Found: C,65.68; H,7.83; N,19.10. C24H34N6O2 requires C,65.73; H,7.81; N,19.16%.
