Reaction Steps
To a solution of 8-(2-chloro-pyridine-3-sulfonyl)-2-(4-trifluoromethoxy-phenyl)-2,8-diaza-spiro[4.5]decan-1-one (described in example 188, 15 mg, 0.03 mmol) in methanol (1 mL) was added sodium methoxide solution (5.4M solution in methanol, 11 uL, 0.06 mmol) and the reaction mixture was then stirred at 90° C. for 16 h. The reaction mixture was concentrated in vacuo to give a crude residue which was diluted with ethyl acetate and washed with water, sat.NaHCO3 and brine. The organic layer was dried (Na2SO4), filtered and evaporated under reduced pressure to give a crude residue which was purified by flash column chromatography to yield the desired product as a white solid (14 mg, 94%). MS (ESI): 486.3 (MH+).
