A mixture of 8-(2-chloro-pyridine-3-sulfonyl)-2-(4-trifluoromethoxy-phenyl)-2,8-diaza-spiro[4.5]decan-1-one (example 188, 40 mg, 0.08 mmol) and ammonium hydroxide (2M solution in water, 8 mL) was heated in an autoclave at 150° C. for 16 h. The reaction mixture was concentrated in vacuo to give a crude residue which was purified by flash column chromatography (5% methanol in chloroform) to yield the desired product as a white solid (36 mg, 98%). MS (ESI): 471.2 (MH+).
