Example 34a (4.3 g, 17 mmol) was reacted with 1,2-dibromoethane (40 mL) as described under General Procedure F to afford the title compound (5.5 g, 100%) as a red oil. 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3) δ 7.33-7.18 (m, 5H), 4.30 (t, J=6.3 Hz, 2H), 4.09 (t, J=6.3 Hz, 2H), 3.89 (s, 3H), 3.51 (t, J=6.0 Hz, 2H), 2.83 (t, J=8.1 Hz, 2H), 2.52 (s, 3H), 2.20 (s, 3H), 2.14-2.05 (m, 2H). MS (ES+) m/z 457 (M+H+).
