To 10 g/L 1,5-pentanediamine (manufactured by Wako Pure Chemicals), 10 g/L aqueous adipic acid solution (manufactured by Wako Pure Chemicals) was added to pH 7, to provide an aqueous 1,5-pentanediamine adipate solution (50 L). To the resulting solution, 1 M aqueous calcium hydroxide solution (manufactured by Wako Pure Chemicals) was added to pH 9, 10 and 11, respectively, followed by stirring the resulting solution for 1 hour at 25° C.
