1,1-dimethylethyl{(2S)-2-({[5-(1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl)-2-pyridinyl]carbonyl}amino)-3-[2-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]propyl}carbamate (crude from part c) was dissolved in DCM (2 mL) and treated with TFA (1 mL). After 30 min., the solution was concentrated and neutralized through a plug of silica (2% MeOH in DCM (1% NH4OH)) affording the free base of the title compound.
