250 mg of 6-[2-[(tert-butyldimethylsilanyloxy)methyl]phenyl]-2-(furan-3-yl)imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine in 6 ml of tetrahydrofuran are placed in a round-bottomed flask, and 320 mg of tetrabutylammonium fluoride are added thereto. The reaction mixture is stirred at ambient temperature for 48 h and concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue is purified by silica gel chromatography, elution being carried out with a dichloromethane/methanol mixture. 156 mg of compound are obtained.
