1-((6,7-Dimethoxyquinolin-4-yl)methyl)piperidin-4-amine (150 mg, 0.50 mmol) was dissolved in DCM (5 mL). While stirring, 4-chlorophenyl isocyanate (84 uL, 0.65 mmol) was added dropwise at rt, and the reaction was allowed to stir for 15 hours. The solvent was removed and the crude compound was columned using 100% DCM to 5% MeOH to give the desired product 1-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-(1-((6,7-dimethoxyquinolin-4-yl)methyl)piperidin-4-yl)urea (50 mg, 0.11 mmol, 22% yield). MS (ESI pos. ion) m/z: 455.2 (MH+). Calc'd exact mass for C24H27ClN4O3: 454.
