Reaction Steps

1.2 ml (9.38 mMol) of phenyl chloroformate were added dropwise to 2.5 g (8.5 mMol) of product 2a dissolved in 50 ml of pyridine at 0° C. The reaction solution was then stirred at room temperature for 16 h. The solution was subsequently poured into ice-water, and the aqueous phase was extracted with ethyl acetate (AcOEt). The organic phase was washed several times with water, dried and concentrated in vacuo. 3.9 g of the product were obtained.
