The title compound was prepared from 3-(1,3-dimethyl-2,4-dioxo-2,3,4,6-tetrahydro-1H-pyrrolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-5-yl)benzonitrile (Example 9, step 4) and ethyl 5-bromopentanoate (0.712 mL, 4.50 mmol) by an analogous method to Example 9 step 5;
