289 mg of ethyl mercaptan sodium salt (80%) was added to a mixture of 828 mg of 4-chloropyridine-3-carboxylic acid (2-methylamino-5-trifluoromethylpyridin-3-yl)-amide and 4 ml of DMF was added under ice cooling, then the mixture was heated to room temperature, and stirred for 3 hours. Water was poured to the reaction mixture, and the precipitated solid was filtered.
