A mixture of methyl 3-((tert-butoxycarbonyl)amino)benzoate (500 mg, 2 mmol) and (S)-1-amino-3-(3,4-dihydroisoquinolin-2(1H)-yl)propan-2-ol (618 mg, 3 mmol) in EtOH (1 mL) was heated at 120° C. for 3 h in a microwave reactor under N2. The reaction solution was concentrated and the residue was purified by column chromatography to give the title product (500 mg, Yield 58.8%). LCMS (m/z): 426.2 (M+1).
