Reaction Steps
To a solution of 1-(2-cyclopropyl-3-methylimidazo[1,2-a]pyridin-6-yl)-4-hydroxypyridin-2(1H)-one (200 mg) in DMF (3 ml) were added 1-(bromomethyl)-4-(tert-butyl)benzene (178 mg) and potassium carbonate (197 mg) at room temperature, and the mixture was stirred for 17 h. The mixture was poured into water, and the resultant solid was collected by filtration. The solid was recrystallized from acetone to give the title compound (143 mg) as white crystals.
