A mixture of 4-(benzyloxy)-1-(2-((1RS,2SR)-2-(2-hydroxypropan-2-yl)cyclopropyl)-1-methyl-1H-benzimidazol-6-yl)pyridin-2(1H)-one (1.35 g), 10% Pd/C (0.6 g) and MeOH (30 ml) was stirred under H2 atmosphere at room temperature for 3 h. The catalyst was removed by filtration, and the filtrate was concentrated in vacuo to give the title compound (950 mg) as an off-white solid.
