Selectfluor® [140681-55-6] (66 mmol) was added portionwise to a solution of (2,5-dimethyl-2H-pyrazol-3-yl)-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester [1246552-45-3] (32.7 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (800 mL) and DMF (800 mL) at 0° C. and then the reaction was warmed to rt. After 1 h, the mixture was quenched with H2O and extracted with CH2Cl2. The organic phase was dried (Na2SO4), filtered and concentrated. The residue was purified using a RediSep® silica gel column to afford the title compound. ESI-MS: tR=0.83 min, [M+H]+ 230 (LC-MS 1).
