1-Methyl-4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-1H-pyrazole (86 mg, 0.42 mmol), palladium tetrakis (26.2 mg, 0.02 mmol) and Na2CO3 (0.76 ml, 0.76 mmol) were added to a solution of 5-bromo-4-methyl-2-[(phenylmethyl)oxy]-N-3-pyridinylbenzamide (may be prepared as described in Example 6; 150 mg, 0.38 mmol) in 1,2-dimethoxyethane (3 ml). The mixture was heated at 120° C. in a microwave for 1 hour. The solvent was removed in vacuo and the residue purified by MDAP to yield the title compound as a white solid. 73 mg.
