Procedure
5-(4′-Acetyl-biphenyl-3-yl)-1-(2-chloro-phenyl)-3-pentafluoroethyl-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazole (18.0 mg, 0.04 mmol) prepared in Example 107 and sodium borohydride (2.0 mg, 0.06 mmol) were added at 0° C. to methanol (2.0 mL). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 3 hours, quenched with distilled water, and then extracted with ethyl acetate three times. The combined extract was washed with brine, dried on anhydrous magnesium sulfate, and then concentrated under reduced pressure to give 17.0 mg of the titled compound as a yellow liquid.
